At the 79th edition of the Venice Film Festival, in the Orizzonti section In addition, the new movie of Fulvio Risuleoa young Italian film talent – but also in comics – who returns to directing three years after his last job, The hit of the dog.

Title ghost night and made by Edouard Pesce – who had already starred in his previous film – and Yothin Clavenzani, the feature film is part of the “all in one night” type of film. A genre in which, Risuleo himself explains, a limited amount of time allows you to focus on the details, giving importance to those little things that in other stories you would end up neglecting.

The story told is that of Tarek, a seventeen-year-old teenager who, before joining his friends to spend the evening together, goes to the park to buy a few grams of smoke. Once there, however, he realizes that someone has seen him: an undercover policeman sitting in his car. The man could simply commandeer the goods, threaten him or decide to take him to the factory and call his parents. Instead, he decides to load the young man into the car. Where do you want to take her? What does he want from the young man? Tarek can’t leave and the policeman forces him to stay with him all night, wandering aimlessly and showing a sometimes gentle, sometimes threatening attitude. Slowly it becomes clear that she is not well. His brain is a runaway train with broken brakes… And Tarek is on that train with him.
