After a long wait, the first official trailer for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey film that again offers the well-known character born from the fantasy of AA Milne in a twist of horror.

The idea of ‚Äč‚Äčthis particular and unexpected project is the fruit of an initiative of the independent administrator Rhys Frake-Waterfield. but how did we arrive at the making of a film so far removed from the canons of the starting material?

For many years, the rights to adaptations of Winnie the Pooh and other 100 Acre Wood characters were held by Disney, but as the rights reverted to the public domain, Frake-Waterfield took the opportunity to do something very unexpected.

The film has been described as a ‘Horrifying reinterpretation of the famous Winnie the Pooh story‘. The cast of the film includes Nikolai Leon as Christopher Robin, Craig David Dowsett as Pooh, Chris Cordell as Piglet, Amber Doig-Thorne as Alice, Natasha Tosini as Lara, Maria Taylor as Maria, May Kelly as Tina, Natasha Rose Mills as Jess and Danielle Ronald as Zoe.
