Available exclusively on Prime Video from October 13 Backstage – Behind the scenes, dance film produced by Eagle Pictures and directed by Cosimo Alemà (La santa e Zeta – A hip-hop story). The film follows a group of talented young artists who compete in singing and dancing to be part of the cast of an important show.

Plot and Cast

The official plot: 111 young people between the ages of 16 and 25 come to the auditions for a new show that will debut at the Sistina Theater in Rome. They have talent, determination and they all have the same dream: to become successful artists. They are chosen in nine but the emotion does not last long because the available roles are only four. Thus began a week of non-stop auditions and rehearsals for them, a week of proving to cynical director James D’Onofrio who truly deserves to be on the show. They will sing until they lose their voice and dance until they drop. They will face each other, they will be rivals, but also friends and accomplices on the path that will lead them to the realization of their greatest desire. Whatever happens, their lives will change forever.

The cast of the film is made up of nine actors in their first film experience, chosen from more than 1400 castings throughout Italy: Giuseppe Futia, Beatrice Dellacasa, Riccardo Suarez, Geneme Tonini, Aurora Moroni, Ilaria Nestovito, Gianmarco Galati, Yuri Pascale , Matteo Giunchi. To complete the cast, Giulio Pampiglione, Giulio Forges Davanzati, Irene Ferri, Jane Alexander and Adolfo Margiotta.
