Since when Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez married in July, a few scattered details emerged on the dynamics of the ceremony.
Now thanks to the newsletter On the JLo, we learn a curious detail that starred the Oscar-winning actor and director. According to Jennifer Lopez, on the eve of the wedding, Affleck quoted one of the bride’s favorite lines from one of the films he starred in. The choice would then meet the favors of JLo, who would then insist on including it in the ceremony which would take place the next day.
Ironically, the joke in question comes from the law of the night, Affleck’s last film as a director and the only one to have never met with the applause of specialized critics or the approval of the public. As reported by the portal Uproxxthe joke in question would have been:
“It’s paradise here. We are in“.
Certainly a sentence with a certain effect, even if the material from which to draw is certainly not lacking in Ben Affleck’s filmography. As a director and lead actor, the actor won the Best Picture Oscar for Argon in 2013, while winning the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for Will Hunting – Rebel Genius in 1998 joined by his friend Matt Damon. In short, there was certainly no shortage of the most successful alternatives, but after all, every desire of the bride is an order!
The 52-year-old pop star and actress and the 49-year-old actor officially got engaged last April and later wed on Saturday, June 16, 2022, in Las Vegas. The marriage thus brought back their dream of love revived twenty years after their conclusion first relationship. The two had previously been engaged from 2002 to 2004, during which time they unwittingly established themselves as one of showbiz’s most iconic couples of the early 2000s.
We remind you in the meantime that we will soon see Ben Affleck on the big screen in the role of Bruce Wayne / Batman in the highly anticipated Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom arriving in our country on December 25, 2023. He will also reprise the same role in the flashwaited for June 23, 2023.
